TYMAH was born in 2003. In the same year the first demo was self-released under the title of "The Beginning of the End". The starting line-up consisted of Dim at the vocals and guitars, and Shadow at the bass. Later on, Gelal - the drummer - joined the band. In 2004 the three of them recorded and self-released the second demo, called "Funeral Fog", which was re-released two years later by the german No Colours Records, with a videoclip added as a bonus track. The debut album, "Transylvanian Dreams", was published in 2005 by No Colours Records. The songs were partly inspired by a Transylvanian journey, thus the phrasing of the lyrics was based mostly on the natural phenomena. In fact, it might be slightly delusive, suggesting a pagan tendency, so it is important to point out, that TYMAH has always been dealing with the issue of Satanism. The second album, "Loquitur cum alqo Sathanas", reveals a much more direct connection to Satanism. Comparing to the first - more spontaneous and instinctive - album, "Loquitur..." shows development in both musical and lyrical ways, and is based on a "gate-system". Each of the seven tracks represents a gate on the road to Satan (not as a person, but as the essence). As the Latin title suggests, the album is a sequence of conversations with Satan, yet not as with an independant phenomen, but as with the Darkness hidden in the dephts of ourselves. The music's challange is to fulfill the image created by the lyrics, as well as to affect and to open up the subconscious.
TYMAH has never wanted to be part of any unit or community, nor bring glory and fame to the musicians. It is a result of an inside (let's say ego-less) urge, whose aim has already been written on the main page.
